The Witcher Season 2 Script Teases Gruesome Encounters

Even though the ‘Witchmas’ initiative is officially over, it looks like there are still a few presents in store for The Witcher fans. In the last few days, Netflix has gifted the fans with a few behind-the-scenes videos from Season 1, and some sneak peeks from the upcoming sophomore season. And now, the streaming service has released a page from The Witcher Season 2 script. Well, let’s just say that the forthcoming season is as gruesome as the first.

The Witcher Season 2 script introduces a merchant called Colin Coppercloth, who is traveling with his wife and daughter, Kira and Meena. While the merchant looks for a place at the inn of an apparently deserted village, his wife is assaulted by something. Coppercloth attempts to get back to the cart, but that same something rips him away into the darkness as his poor daughter is screaming, covered in blood. Although the casting suggested that the sophomore season will adapt the story of Blood of Elves, this scene doesn’t appear to be from that. Based on casting news, it’s already known that Andrew Paul will play Colin Coppercloth and Lesley Ewen is Colin’s wife, Meena.

According to the reportsThe Witcher is filming around him as he recovers from it. The new adventures of Geralt of Rivia will shed new light on the white-haired witcher’s backstory. Netflix has yet to announce an official release date for The Witcher Season 2.
