The Plot Thickens in Star Trek: Discovery Episode 3.07 Photos

CBS All Access has released a brand new set of photos for the upcoming seventh episode of Star Trek: Discovery Season 3. Fans already know from years and years of Star Trek that the primary mission of Starfleet has always been exploration and the search for new life in the final frontier. But it appears that the Burn has changed the nature of Starfleet itself. The lack of dilithium has now dilated the missions’ time and limited the range of planets Starfleet can reach.

And the change affects the USS Discovery as well, which in the 32nd century has to cover its new role with Admiral Charles Vance’s prompt intervention emergency team. Vance is trying to hold what’s left of the Federation together, but Commander Burnham might have other plans. In the next episode — the title of which references a beloved Star Trek: The Next Generation two-parter — Starfleet’s future might be at stake.

“While grappling with the fallout of her recent actions, and what her future might hold, Burnham agrees to represent the Federation in an intense debate about the release of politically sensitive – but highly valuable – Burn data.”

The upcoming Star Trek: Discovery Episode 3.07 will hit CBS All Access on Thursday, November 26.
