Batman: Hush Will Premiere at San Diego Comic-Con

Comic-Con is a time for big announcements, but it’s also a time for premieres. Via Newsarama, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has just revealed plans to host the world premiere of Batman: Hush at next month’s event.

The animated adaptation of Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee’s acclaimed Batman storyline was first announced at last year’s Comic-Con. The premiere will take place on Friday, July 19 at 7:15pm PST in Ballroom 20. There will also be an encore screening at 9:30pm in the same location.

Hush won’t be WB Home Entertainment’s only draw at this year’s con. They are also planning to debut the long-awaited Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans at noon on Sunday, July 21. That film pairs the characters from Teen Titans Go! with their counterparts for a new adventure that serves as a sequel to last year’s Teen Titans Go! To the Movies. The screening will be followed by a panel featuring the series’ voice cast, crew, and a few special guests.

Additionally, there will also be a screening of a Shazam! documentary on Thursday, July 18 at 6pm PST. The film traces the character’s history from his introduction in 1939 to his success on the big screen this year. Several DC Comics creators, including Geoff Johns, Gerry Conway, and Jim Lee will make onscreen appearances alongside the cast and crew of this year’s movie.

For younger fans, LEGO DC: Batman: Family Matters, will have its own premiere at the con. Attendees can also celebrate the 20th anniversary of Batman Beyond in Hall H with a panel featuring Bruce Timm, Kevin Conroy, and Will Friedle.
