Another Major Character Exiting Arrow This Season

Following the recent exit of Willa Holland, who played Thea Queen, Oliver Queen’s (Stephen Amell) half-sister also known as “Speedy,” Entertainment Weekly has learned that Arrow will be losing another major character ahead of season seven. Paul Blackthorne, who has played Quentin Lance since the start of the series, will be leaving the show by the end of its current sixth season.

It’s noted that season six is usually when the actors’ initial contracts are up, which is why the two exits make sense, though some fans may have a hard time saying goodbye to another original character, especially since the details surrounding how Quentin will be written out are being kept under wraps. Thea left town alive and on a new mission; will Quentin — the new mayor of Star City who succeeded Oliver as mayor after Queen was arrested — be lucky enough to walk away alive, too? Or will Quentin meet a more permanent end by the time the season finale airs?
