Production continues today on the set of J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode VII and Bad Robot has taken to Twitter with a sneak peek of an IMAX camera filming what is presumably going to double as the desert world of Tatooine. IMAX has, meanwhile, confirmed that their cameras are being used for the December 18, 2015 release, although it remains to be seen how much of the final film will be shot in the format.

Since it was revealed on Sunday that production has already wrapped in Abu Dhabi, there’s a good chance that this image is at least a month old (or, potentially, part of a second unit shoot).
Star Wars: Episode VII is set to star Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Crystal Clarke and Pip Anderson.
