Kelsey Grammer Talks His Transformers 4 Character

“He’s a no-nonsense guy, He’s lived his life in the shadows for 30 years in the service of his country, and he likes to be unremarkable yet very efficient.”

Grammer also spoke about working with director Michael Bay.

“I don’t know if Michael has seen Frasier,” laughed Grammer. “He’s been very respectful and funny. He’s a terrific guy and quite a filmmaker. He just said to me the other day, ‘You’re Kelsey Grammer – you can do whatever you want to do.’ So I guess he at least has some acquaintance with my work.”

The plot of the sequel is still top secret, but Dinobots are said to be heavily involved and Bay himself teased to ComingSoon.net that it will involve a “Chase from Hell.”

Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing, T.J. Miller, Han Geng and Titus Welliver also star in the film. Transformers: Age of Extinction is set for released on June 27, 2014.
