Comic-Con: Take a Look Inside the Ender’s Game Fan Experience

Modeled after the film’s Battle School, the massive structure houses eight different rooms filled with props and costumes from the November 1 release. Fans have the opportunity to step through Ender Wiggin’s (Asa Butterfield) living room, his quarters in the International Fleet and even sit through a Battle School session with Colonel Hyrum Graff (Harrison Ford).

Although it wasn’t quite ready for preview night, attendees will also have the opportunity to have their pictures taken against a green screen backdrop that simulates Ender’s Zero G Battle Room experience.

Directed by Gavin Hood, the film itself also stars Ben Kingsley, Hailee Steinfeld, Abigail Breslin, Viola Davis, Nonso Anozie, Stevie Ray Dillmore, Andrea Powell, Moises Arias, Conor Carroll, Aramis Knight, Brandon Soo hoo, Jimmy “Jax” Pinchak, Suraj Parthasarathy and Khylin Rhambo.

In the near future, a hostile alien race called the Formics have attacked Earth. If not for the legendary heroics of International Fleet Commander Mazer Rackham (Kingsley), all would have been lost. In preparation for the next attack, the highly esteemed Colonel Hyrum Graff (Ford) and the International Military are training only the best young minds to find the future Mazer.

Ender Wiggin (Butterfield), a shy but strategically brilliant boy, is recruited to join the elite. Arriving at Battle School, Ender quickly and easily masters increasingly difficult challenges and simulations, distinguishing himself and winning respect amongst his peers. Ender is soon ordained by Graff as the military’s next great hope, resulting in his promotion to Command School. Once there, he’s trained by Mazer Rackham himself to lead his fellow soldiers into an epic battle that will determine the future of Earth and save the human race.
