Elliot Page has opened up about his career after The Odyssey. The actor revealed that he has not received a new acting offer since appearing in the 2026 epic as the Greek soldier Sinon.
Page opened up about his career during an appearance on the On Film… With Kevin McCarthy podcast. When host Kevin McCarthy suggested that he must be receiving “a zillion calls” after working in The Odyssey, the Canadian actor replied, “No, Kevin, I’m not,” before jokingly adding, “So, if someone wants to call me.”

The 39-year-old made it clear that his lack of new projects is not because he wants to step away from acting. When asked about his next project, Page said he does not have anything lined up. The actor said, “I’d really love to do, ideally, good work. That’s what I’d love to do.”
The Odyssey actor also addressed why finding his next role may be difficult, explaining that he was “seen in a certain way before” and that things are “different now.” The actor suggested that he could take a more active approach to finding work by reaching out to filmmakers and making connections.
Page said, “I think that’s probably for pretty obvious reasons: the Canadian thing.” He then joked about being Canadian, adding another layer to his comments about the difficulties of finding his next role. The X-Men: Days of Future Past actor also reflected on how his experience impacted his approach to acting.
He had a great time working with Christopher Nolan on Inception but was “personally really uncomfortable” at the time, contrasting that experience with Juno, where he felt “a bit more comfortable and embodied.” Page believes he is now in a better position to take on challenging roles, and said, “I feel like I could maybe do some of my best work now.”
The 39-year-old also described returning to work with Nolan on The Odyssey as a “full-circle moment.” He became emotional after wrapping the film, making the experience particularly meaningful. While his next project remains unclear, the actor hopes that new acting opportunities come his way.
