MCU Rumor Reveals What Next Marvel Saga Will Focus On

The next saga of the Marvel Cinematic Universe isn’t at hand yet, but a new report suggests what type of stories Marvel Studios will turn its focus towards.

What type of stories will MCU be focusing on?

In a new Q&A session with Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus, a reader asked which corners of the MCU will be the primary focus going forward. Perez noted that “cosmic” stories have been the main focus and that it will soon be time to dive into two other big areas.

“Cosmic is the biggest one right now. Then Mutant. Followed by the Supernatural,” said Perez.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting any news of mutants in the MCU. Although several X-Men characters are set to appear in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, no official casting for the new era of the team has been set as of yet. As for what “supernatural” might be, it could mean we’re finally getting Blade in the MCU, or perhaps a contiuation of stories from heroes like Moon Knight.

Up next for Marvel Studios is The Fantastic Four: First Steps. That film is led by Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm. The film also includes Ralph Ineson as Galactus and Julia Garner as Shalla-Bal/Silver Surfer. Additionally, Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, and Natasha Lyonne have been cast in undisclosed roles.
