Zack Snyder Reveals Favorite Line in Justice League

Zack Snyder‘s favorite line in Justice League might not be what fans think it is, with the director revealing just what he loved the most.

Snyder appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience recently to discuss his films. At one point, he spoke at length with Rogan about his work on the then-DCEU, and revealed that he loves the idea of Batman being a billionaire-turned-hero.

“That was like my favorite thing we did in Justice League,” said Snyder. “Where Bruce says that line, when the Flash says, ‘What’s your power?’ and he’s like ‘I’m rich.’ I always thought that was cool.”

Snyder also spoke about his belief that Batman is a traumatic figure, and specifically mentioned that his sex life is done to “forget” his trauma.

Zack Snyder directed Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman in both 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, as well as in 2017’s Justice League. Snyder also released a director’s cut version of Justice League in 2021, which featured extended footage of Affleck.

Beginning in 2013 and running through 2021, Snyder also was at the helm of Warner Bros. Discovery and DC’s DC Extended Universe. Snyder directed 2013’s Man of Steel and was also a co-writer on 2017’s Wonder Woman. Following the director’s cut of Justice League, Snyder moved on from the world of DC, and has since begun making his own sci-fi universe, Rebel Moon.
