Warner Bros. Announces Voice Cast For Superman: Red Son Animated Film

What if Superman was raised from birth in the Soviet Union? That was the premise of Mark Millar and artist Dave Johnson’s Superman: Red Son, an Elseworlds miniseries published by DC in 2003. Next year, Warner Bros. Animation is releasing an adaptation of Superman: Red Son. Now, via ComicBook, the main cast of the film has been revealed.

Jason Isaacs will step into the role of Superman, while Diedrich Bader will portray his American rival, Lex Luthor. Isaacs memorably portrayed Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, and starred as Captain Lorca in the first season of Star Trek: Discovery. He recently voiced the Emperor in The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.
