6 Major Avatar 3: Fire and Ash Spoilers Already Known

With Avatar: Fire and Ash about to hit the big screen, the fandom’s already in full hype. And the filmmakers surely didn’t help by dropping a few tasty teases. As James Cameron gears up to roll out the next chapter of his blockbuster universe, here’s the rundown on the biggest story spoilers that have already been leaked out.

List of Avatar 3: Fire and Ash spoilers already made public

Here are six plot points from Avatar: Fire and Ash that viewers already know going in:

Narration shifts to Lo’ak

Forget Jake Sully. This time, the story will be told from the POV of Lo’ak Sully, who takes over as the main voice. This is a major change, and can give fans a fresh look at Pandora (via The Direct).

A “dead” Na’vi character returns

Former warrior Tsu’tey will be making a comeback, probably appearing through flashbacks, visions, or spiritual encounters. This has been made possible because of Laz Alonso’s motion capture.

Ash Tribe

The movie brings in a fiery new Na’vi clan called the Ash People, aka the Mangkwan tribe, led by a fresh villain, Varang. They are a warrior tribe hailing from volcanic, ash-covered wastelands. They have rejected the goddess Eywa after their homeland was obliterated by an eruption.

Aerial enemies and new tribes soar into the story

We’re also meeting the Wind Traders, a nomadic Na’vi clan who cruise Pandora’s skies on flying beasts. James Cameron told Empire they’re basically the medieval Spice Road camel caravans, showing just how important they are to the expanding world of Pandora.

Family grief shakes Jake and Neytiri’s bond

The heart-wrenching loss of their eldest son throws Jake and Neytiri into emotional chaos. In Fire and Ash, their bond gets pushed to the limit, making them face grief, parenting struggles, and the tug-of-war between their human roots, Na’vi heritage, and loyalty to Pandora.

Old enemies evolve, including a dangerous alliance

Miles Quaritch is back, this time teaming up with Varang and the Ash People. This alliance of human firepower and the rebellious Ash People will pose some serious trouble for Jake and his family.

Avatar: Fire and Ash will be in theatres on December 19, 2025.
