Is There a Gen V Season 2 Episode 9 Release Date & Time?

Viewers are wondering if there’s a Gen V Season 2 Episode 9 release date and time. The latest episode, “Trojan,” ended on a massive cliffhanger, so naturally, fans want to see more. However, fans will have to wait until The Boys Season 5 premieres to see what happens next.

Here’s all you need to know.

Gen V Season 2 Episode 9 release date and time explained

There isn’t a Gen V Season 2 Episode 9 release date or time. This is because the season had eight episodes scheduled, all of which are now available to stream.

Amazon has yet to make any announcement for a third season, if there is any. However, the showrunner, Michele Fazekas, has said that there are a “number of ways” that a third season could be done (via Variety). While the spin-off series was intended to add to The Boys’ storyline, he believes that it “doesn’t really mean that there wouldn’t be another season of Gen V.”

While this is not a confirmation, there is a chance that Amazon will continue Gen V after The Boys has concluded.

Has Gen V Season 2 ended?

Yes, Gen V Season 2 has concluded.

Prime Video released the finale episode, “Trojan,” on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. The show currently has no plans to release any bonus episodes.

Whether Marie Moreau and her friends will return for a possible third season is also not clear yet. Their return depends on whether they’ll survive the final battle against Homelander and his Vought army. However, The Boys’ showrunner, Eric Kripke, showed optimism, saying that the Gen V “can and should continue” (via Variety).
