DC’s Peacemaker Season 2 just wrapped up, and viewers are wondering who dies in the finale. The promo for this week’s episode had teased a lot of interesting things, and A.R.G.U.S. agents visiting the different worlds in the Quantum Unfolding Chamber (QUC) was one of them. Since this finale is a lead-up to James Gunn’s next Superman movie, The Man of Tomorrow, fans expected some big revelations.
Here’s what happened in the Peacemaker Season 2 finale.

Does Kline die in Peacemaker Season 2 episode 8?
Peacemaker Season 2, Episode 8, “Full Nelson”, opened a lot of doors for the upcoming DC movies, literally. After Peacemaker surrendered his QUC to A.R.G.U.S., Rick Flag sent his agents to open every door in the pocket dimension that they could.
During their exploration, Agent Kline, followed by Fleury, Harcourt, and a few others, found an unlocked door. As a safety measure, only Kline, Fleury, and Harcourt walk through the door. Upon entering, they get attacked by a swarm of tiny, unknown alien inhabitants.
These creatures overwhelm the agents, who desperately fight for their lives as they get dragged away from the door. Soon, the creatures not only cut their safety rope, but also closed the door behind them, trapping the three inside. After a while, the door opens and everybody runs towards it. In the process, some of the creatures break into Kline’s hazmat suit’s helmet and start biting him. And by the time he was out of the door, the creatures had eaten half of his face, killing him.
While Kline met his tragic fate, the exploration carried on for a significant part of the episode. The agents encounter doors that lead to a black hole, a burning Rome-like ancient city with giant skeletons featuring spider-like legs, and a world overrun by zombies. Finally, they find a world similar to Earth’s environment with a breathable atmosphere. Flag later revealed that he’s going to use this world as a prison for the meta-humans.
In the closing moments, A.R.G.U.S. agents capture Peacemaker and trap him in this world as a test subject.
