The DC/Studio co-CEO has given fans a sneak peek at what to expect, sharing the Peacemaker Season 2 soundtrack, which sets the tone for the next episode.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), James Gunn wrote, “Pre-Game for Episode 7 so you can sing along as Peacemaker’s world is shattered — new songs up now on the Official Peacemaker Soundtrack!”

“Like a Keith in the Night” is set to release on Thursday, October 2, at 6:00 PM PT/9:00 PM ET on HBO Max.
Peacemaker follows the story of Christopher Smith, brought to life by John Cena. Cena is a man who’ll go to extreme lengths for peace, even committing acts of violence. Season 2 takes Smith into an alternate dimension where his father and brother are alive. They are living the superhero life and enjoying the fame and glory.
By the end of Season 2, Episode 6 (Ignorance Is Chris), Chris gets some much-needed bonding time with his father and brother. He experiences the love and approval from his dad that he has always longed for. However, this joy is short-lived, and it’s soon revealed that Nazis rule Earth 2. They won World War II by defeating the Allied forces, hinting that this alternate reality could actually be Earth X.
