An exclusive Hello Kitty Chucky popcorn bucket is now available for sale, showcasing the popular Sanrio character with a costume befitting the iconic horror doll. The creepy popcorn bucket features the mouthless cat with red sutures and driving a rather cute and elaborate peach-and-lavender car. The vessel is surprisingly affordable too, given how much these containers go for at various theater chains (sometimes up to $60 these days), though it’s rather tough to find this special Hello Kitty popcorn bucket in person. How much is the Hello Kitty popcorn bucket at Universal Studios?
The Hello Kitty Chucky popcorn bucket only costs $29.99 and is available for sale at the Universal Orlando resort, while supplies last at least. The vessel should be in stock in multiple locations in the resort, including shops along the CityWalk.
The vessel, which has Hello Kitty dressed up as Chucky in a semi-zombified way, is rather large. It can still be held in one hand, but the plastic single-person convertible she rides in lengthy. Both Hello Kitty’s face and the front of the car match, with blue eyes, painted red stitches, and a cute red bow affixed over their left eye. The main body of the vehicle is a light purple and has the word “Good Girls” and several hearts along the left side, while the red wheels have a similar red bow as the spokes. The back of the car is painted with a series of red, pink, green, and blue stripes, the same colors as the figurine’s shirt.
Interestingly, the popcorn container opens from the left side with the hinge of the lid on the righthand side. This reveals a rather spacious area, painted black to make it easier to spot any popped popcorn kernels, that should be big enough for a small popcorn at the very least. A yellow ribbon along the front of the car shows that is indeed an official Hello Kitty and Chucky collaboration.
The figurine matches prior Hello Kitty Chucky plush dolls. At the time of writing, this particular popcorn bucket has been found at several auction sites, like eBay, for $60 to $80 (without including shipping fees) in case you’re not in the Orlando area.
