From fan-favorite heroes to powerful new mechanics inspired by bending, here are all the details on this release.
All cards revealed in Magic: The Gathering’s Avatar: The Last Airbender set
Magic: The Gathering’s Avatar: The Last Airbender set brings Avatar’s rich lore to life with beautifully illustrated cards. Key characters like Aang, the Avatar, Toph, Zuko, Katara, and Sokka are featured, each with abilities reflecting their bending prowess. Airbending exiles permanents, waterbending manipulates life totals, earthbending strengthens defenses, and firebending deals direct damage, creating a dynamic gameplay experience.
Other cards included are:
- Appa, Steadfast Guardian – A loyal protector with high toughness.
- Momo, Friendly Flyer – A low-cost creature with evasion abilities.
- Fire Lord Sozin – A formidable Mono-Black addition.
- Redirect Lightning – A spell mirroring Zuko’s iconic moment.
The set also includes full-art Opa lands, showcasing the Four Nations, and special foil treatments like the raised foil Avatar Aang card. It is designed in collaboration with Avatar co-creator Bryan Konietzko.
However, there won’t be any preconstructed decks for this release. This means players will need to rely on Play Boosters or Collector Boosters to assemble their Avatar-themed decks.
