Superman 2’s estimated release date is 2028 or 2029. This is based on the pattern traditionally followed by most superhero films.
Superhero films have mostly seen their sequels land in theaters two to three years after the inaugural installment. For instance, the original X-Men film, released in 2000, had its sequels X2 and X-Men: The Last Stand released in 2003 and 2006, respectively.
