Superman: All Marvel Actors Cast in DCU Movie (There’s a Lot!)

Superman is arguably one of the most anticipated movies from DC, and coming from Marvel ace James Gunn, it also features many Marvel actors. This is an intriguing addition, as most fans are familiar with the stars who appeared in the MCU.

Here is a complete list of actors from the Marvel universe who will be a part of the Superman cast.

Frank Grillo

The famed Frank Grillo appeared as Brock Rumlow/Crossbones in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War. He reprised the role in What If…? and Avengers: Endgame as well. He will appear as Rick Flag Sr. in Superman.

Mikaela Hoover

Mikaela Hoover played Nova Prime’s Assistant in the Marvel movie Guardians of the Galaxy. She also worked previously on DC’s The Suicide Squad, which was also directed by James Gunn. Now, she will appear as Cat Grant in Superman.

Alan Tudyk

Though not a direct part of any Marvel movie, Alan Tudyk voiced the character of the bodega cat in the Spider-Man 2 game. He also appeared in Deadpool 2 and will now reportedly voice Robot 4, one of the robotic servants stationed at the Fortress of Solitude, in Superman.

Nicholas Hoult

Nicholas Hoult is one of the bigger names on the list. He appeared as Hank McCoy/Beast in the X-Men franchise. He is now set to play Lex Luthor in Superman (2025).

Bradley Cooper

Another big addition to the list, Bradley Cooper voiced the famous Rocket Raccoon in the MCU. Now, he will appear as Jor-El in James Gunn’s Superman.

Nathan Fillion

Nathan Fillion is set to appear as Green Lantern in the upcoming Superman. But he has also played a handful of roles in Marvel, including Karja in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Monstrous Inmate in Guardians of the Galaxy, and Headpool in Deadpool & Wolverine.

Edi Gathegi

Edi Gathegi will play Mister Terrific in Superman. Previously, the actor has appeared in X-Men: First Class as Darwin.

Skyler Gisondo

Skyler Gisondo will portray Jimmy Olsen in James Gunn’s upcoming superhero movie. But his ties to the genre go back to The Amazing Spider-Man franchise, where he played Howard Stacy.

Pom Klementieff

Klementieff previously worked in MCU’s Guardians of the Galaxy, where she played Mantis. In the upcoming Superman, she will voice one of the robots that inhabit the Fortress of Solitude.

Michael Rooker

The hilarious Yondu from Guardians of the Galaxy will join James Gunn’s new project as one of the robots stationed at the Fortress of Solitude.

Sean Gunn

Sean Gunn will take on the role of Maxwell Lord in the DCU, while he played Kraglin in the MCU.

Wendell Pierce

Wendell Pierce recently appeared as Congressman Gary in Thunderbolts*. He will also play Perry White in Superman.

Isabela Merced

Finally, Isabela Merced, who played Anya Corazon in Madame Web, will now join the Superman cast as Kendra Saunders / Hawkgirl.
