What role does Michael Biehn play in Predator: Killer of Killers?

Michael Biehn has a small but significant role in Predator: Killer of Killers. The sci-fi legend appeared in the third segment of Predator: Killer of Killers. Biehn appears in the animated movie as Vandy, the commanding officer of Torres (Rick Gonzalez).

In the movie, Vandy and the rest of his squadron encounter a Predator spacecraft, with only Vandy and Torres surviving. After figuring out that the Predator was tracking them by the heat in the engines, Vandy sacrifices himself to buy more time for Torres.

This continues Michael Biehn’s long-standing tradition of playing tough characters who sacrifice themselves in sci-fi movies.

Michael Biehn’s roles in Alien and The Terminator explained

Along with Lance Henriksen and Bill Paxton, Michael Biehn is one of the few actors to be a part of the Alien, Predator, and Terminator franchises. Biehn played Corporal Dwayne Hicks in the Alien franchise. He was a Senior Corporal of the United States Colonial Marine Corps aboard the USS Sulaco. He is also one of only four survivors of the expedition. However, his character was killed at the beginning of Alien 3. Notably, his off-screen death generated significant backlash from the fanbase.

In the Terminator franchise, Biehn played Sergeant Kyle Reese. Reese is a soldier sent back in time by the leader of the human Resistance, John Connor, to save Connor’s mother, Sarah. Biehn portrayed the character in The Terminator (1984) and Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), with other actors taking on the role later.

Predator: Killer of Killers is now streaming on Hulu.
