Delicious in Dungeon Season 2 is expected to be released sometime in 2026.
Season 1 aired from January 4, 2024, to June 13, 2024. Following the premiere of the last episode, the makers surprised fans with the announcement of another season. A short teaser was shown that ended with the lines “Season 2 has been confirmed.”
Further, in August 2024, it was shared that the second season has been in production, as per the anime’s official X (formerly Twitter) account. Since then, there hasn’t been an update on Season 2, and it is likely being delayed.
The first season also witnessed hassles with the announcement being made in August 2022 but the show premiering in January 2024. As such, it is possible that the second season is likely facing some production hassles, potentially leading to long delays.

Delicious in Dungeon Season 2’s plot is expected to pick up from where it left. Part 1 focused on the 52 chapters of the original manga, with the last being the Sixth Floor Arc. It ended with the Touden wanting to free the Winged Lion and rescue Falin after beating the eccentric magician.
Further in part 2, the team is expected to delve deep into the mystery of the Canaries. For the unaware, Canaries is the elf government’s secret police force for the management of the dungeon.
