When will Final Destination Bloodlines be leaving movie theaters?

Final Destination Bloodlines is expected to leave theaters in mid-June.

Any film’s departure from theaters is determined by its overall performance at the box office. Final Destination 6 is distributed by Warner Bros., and the studio’s previous releases can be analyzed to determine the film’s theatrical run. A Minecraft Movie, released on April 4, 2025, in the U.S., opened in 4,263 cinema halls. The film proved to be a box office success, running in the theatres for eight weeks before seeing a significant drop in theater count in its ninth weekend, to around 824. Further, WB’s recent release, Sinners, opened in 3,308 theaters with a wide release of 3,518. The horror thriller has also run in the halls for seven weeks now, becoming a financial success as well.

Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson-led Mickey 17, releasing in early March in 3,807 theatres, proved to be a flop at the box office. The film saw a massive drop in its theater count just after four weeks of its release due to its poor performance. Further, it made its way to the digital screens way earlier than expected.

However, Final Destination Bloodlines has proven to be a massive success at the box office. The horror flick, which was released on May 16, 2025, has grossed $229.3 million worldwide so far. As a result, distributors will want to generate as much profit from their theatrical run. It is expected to be in a good chunk of theaters for at least 6-8 weeks, if not more. It will likely start to leave theaters after almost two months following its release. Hence, people who wish to catch Final Destination 6 in theaters should do it before mid-June, when it is expected to leave theaters.
