Marvel Studios has greenlit a brand new miniseries with Paul Bettany’s Vision taking center stage, along with a stellar cast. While the series will feature several familiar faces, fans will also meet some new characters. With the working title Vision Quest, the series will be helmed by Terry Matalas, who is best known as the executive producer of Star Trek: Picard. It is set to arrive sometime in 2026.
Here’s everything we know about the cast in the Vision series.
List of every Android and AI’s human form actor cast in the Vision Quest series
Paul Bettany as Vision
Paul Bettany reprises his role as Vision. Marvel confirmed his return in May 2024 when the studio greenlit the new MCU series. Although Vision was killed by Thanos in 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War, the android was resurrected twice in 2021’s WandaVision. Fans last saw Bettany as White Vision when Wanda Maximoff restored his memories of his past life in the series finale.
James Spader as Ultron
Spader will return as the power-hungry AI with a new nefarious agenda. Marvel announced Spader’s casting in August 2024. It seems that Ultron survived Vision’s powers when it was seemingly destroyed in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015).
T’Nia Miller as Jocasta
English actress T’Nia Miller joins the MCU as Jocasta Pym. In the comic books, Jocasta is a powerful robot built by Ultron himself, based on the mind of Janet van Dyne, aka The Wasp.
Kerry Condon as F.R.I.D.A.Y.
Condon returns as the voice of F.R.I.D.A.Y., the AI serving as the personal digital assistant of Iron Man. We first heard Condon as F.R.I.D.A.Y. in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The character has since appeared in several MCU films, including Infinity War and Endgame.
James D’Arcy as Jarvis
Jarvis will be back in the upcoming Vision series, with D’Arcy returning as his voice. Jarvis was previously voiced by Paul Bettany before he went on to portray Vision. Additionally, D’Arcy played Edwin Jarvis, the human butler of Howard Stark, in Agent Carter and Avengers: Endgame.
Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H.
A report by insider Daniel Richtman suggests that Emily Hampshire will join the Vision Quest cast as the human version of Spider-Man’s E.D.I.T.H. system. Hampshire is best known for playing Jennifer Goines in the Syfy series 12 Monkeys and Stevie Budd in the CBC comedy Schitt’s Creek.
In addition to the above list, other cast members include Faran Tahir, who will reprise his role as Raza; Todd Stashwick, who will play an assassin on the hunt for Vision and his tech; and finally, Ruaridh Mollica as Tucker.
