John Wick and His Best Frenemy Caine Get Hot Toys

In the world of John Wick, it takes a good friend to allow you to kill him. For Keanu Reeves‘ always-on-the-go assassin, that man would be Caine, played by Hong Kong icon Donnie Yen. Portraying the classic martial arts archetype of the blind swordsman, but no slouch with a gun, either, Yen has a face instantly identifiable to action movie aficionados. The moment he steps onscreen, they know he’s going to cause a lot of trouble for John. But many never guessed just how much.

What a Wick’d Game

As things stand, and assuming that actually is John’s body in the grave labeled thusly, Caine is the man who killed the “Baba Yaga.” But based on the post-credits scene, he may have his own problems as a result of at least one corpse he created along the way.

Hot Toys allows fans to relive and repose the battle between Wick and Caine, with two new figures that look like they came right off the John Wick: Chapter 4 movie screen. John Wick includes moving eyeballs; Caine, being blind, does not. Wick also comes with two different hairdos: brushed, and battle-swept. Do you prefer your Keanu ruffled, or unfazed?

Per the official product description, Caine boasts, “a stylish suit, greatly-poseable body, an arsenal of weapon and accessories including a pair of glasses, a cane sword, an axe, pistols, wheel gun, gold coins in stacks and a display base.” John Wick, on the other hand, brings to the table a “patterned fabric suit, a specialized body, an array of weapons including katana, nunchaku, bow and arrows, lots of guns, gold coins in stacks and a display base. A Special Edition available in selected markets will include a rifle as a bonus item exclusively to enhance the firing power.”

John goes for $270, for either the regular or the bonus gun edition. Caine’s slightly cheaper at $260. Expect them to ship any time between next October and the March after that, with payment plans available in the meantime.
