The HasLab Rancor, Cantina Playset and More Pulse Con 2021 Star Wars

Many of today’s Hasbro Pulse Con 2021 Star Wars exclusives had already been rumored. But the main event was the launch of HasLab’s Rancor. A new crowd funded project, this oversize monster, made to scale with 6-inch figures, stands 17.5 inches tall. With an armspan of 42 inches, and 45 separate points of articulation, this massive monster commands a preorder price of $350. It needs 9,000 backers to happen; as of this writing, shortly after launch, it already boast over 1,200.

In the 3.75-inch Vintage Collection, the major revelation involved a diorama playset. The Nevarro Cantina from The Mandalorian season 1 climax. designed to stage most of the major characters in one big scene. Two sets can combine to create a full room, and the window can switch out clean and broken versions. A Deathtrooper figure comes packed in. Also in the Vintage Collection: a bonus Jedi wave with new face printing, with Mace, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, and young Anakin.

New Black Series figures shown include an intricately detailed Cobb Vanth, Mayfeld in tank driver disguise, and Boba Fett in his Tatooine robes. Both the Black Series and Vintage Collection will add a Maldo Kreis set featuring a snowy Mandalorian, Grogu, and ice spider. The Black Series version will be exclusive to Target. Exclusive to Disney parks, three new Black Series packs include creatures, droids (K-series interrogator, Pit Droid, Battle Droid, BB unit, Babu Frik) and the First Order (featuring a new Hux).

The high-end lightsaber collection adds Leia Organa’s lightsaber, and will later take on Darth Vader’s signature balde. Announced, but not shown, were Black Series Figrin D’an, Ewok Village Leia, and New Republic Security Droid (from The Mandalorian). Upcoming Vintage: ARC Trooper Jesse, Ahsoka’s Legion Trooper, Mandalorian Supercommando Captain (a.k.a. “Maul-dalorian”), and Din Djarin in Tank Driver disguise.
