Super7’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Ultimates Series 1 Revealed

Back when the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers debuted as toys for kids, the stores couldn’t get enough. Now that first generation of kids are adults, and they can’t seem to get enough of different companies making new variations. Super7’s take on the original American Power Rangers fall into the 7-inch scale category. And unlike previous Ultimates that used the muscular He-Man body, these sport realistic physiques to represent actors under spandex. Super7 previously announced the Power Rangers Ultimates series 1 lineup, but today they finally showed them all. Preorders begin now.

Wave 1 includes a Putty Patroller, Green Ranger, Yellow Ranger, Goldar, and Tyrannosaurus Zord. And several of these seem designed to inspire multiple purchases. The Yellow Ranger includes Trini and Aisha alternate heads, while the Green Ranger comes with parts to make him either Evil Tommy or Good Tommy. The Putty Patroller features alternate arm appendages, as well as disguise items like a sports jersey and hat. The Zord is scaled to fit with other Super7 Ultimates robots like Voltron and Optimus Prime. And it comes with two miniature Red Rangers. Goldar is Goldar, but he features several alternate parts and accessories.

As with Transformers, Super7’s method of making these stand out from the competition is with TV-specific accessories. Items like the Mr. Ticklesneezer doll or alternate Dragon shoulder armors tie these figures more closely to the shows fans remember. Get a gander at all the extras in our gallery below.

Super7 put preorders up today, but retailers like BigBadToyStore and Entertainment Earth usually offer a better deal on shipping.
