Iron Studios Black Widow Statue Commemorates Her MCU Debut

Iron Man 2 doesn’t get much respect when people make their ranked lists of Marvel movies. And frankly, that seems unfair. Especially since it introduced the Marvel Cinematic Universe to Scarlett Johansson’s Agent Romanoff — the Black Widow. Iron Studios has made several statues of her over the years, but most were made from more recent appearances. The debut look is rarely seen in official merchandise, and this quarter-scale Black Widow statue depicts it in glorious detail. Since NECA seems unlikely to make more Marvel quarter-scale figures any time soon, this 18-inch Natasha will also display well next to them.

She stands on a base adorned with her belt-buckle logo, and strewn with smashed computers. Though she has permed red hair, it’s not going to get in her face. Or keep her from adopting a combat ready stance. This hand-painted statue is made from polystone, and fans can preorder it at Sideshow Collectibles’ site. Sticker price is $700, with payment plans of $78.75 installments available.

Okay, yes, there are other good things about Iron Man 2. Don Cheadle’s debut as War Machine. Agent Coulson. Tony Stark openly being a bad drunk for the last time in the MCU. The giant donut. But one thing at a time. Iron Studios may get to them all eventually.

But Natasha is the best. Take a look at more angles on the Black Widow statue in our gallery below.
