Gwyneth Paltrow’s Rescue Is Getting the Hot Toys Treatment

Warning: There are spoilers ahead for Avengers: Endgame!

After over a decade, the MCU finally gave us an Iron Woman suit, and Hot Toys is here for it just like we are. While the real Gwyneth Paltrow tries to save the world by selling strange organic products, her onscreen alter-ego Pepper Potts has a different style. Leading the ladies of the MCU into battle, Rescue finally puts husband’s gear to good personal use. With Tony Stark gone, who knows if we’ll see Pepper again onscreen. But she made enough of an impression that we definitely want to see her in our toy collection.

As usual, no Avengers: Endgame detail is skimped on. Rescue features numerous pop-out panels and flaps, and a fully articulated body. Additionally, she comes with a swap-out open-mask head with authentic Paltrow likeness. And repulsor blasts. Don’t forget the repulsor blasts. Ever.

The figure also includes LED light-up effects, like any good Stark-armored, high-end figure should. And yes, she can do the dramatic superhero landing pose. Stark suits must have really good padding. Seriously, that landing must be hell on the knees.

Tony can rest now. We won’t until this figure becomes ours.

Wearing the Rescue Suit designed by Tony Stark, Pepper Potts joined the Earth Mightiest Heroes in the final battle against Thanos and his army in Avengers: Endgame. Originally working as Tony Stark’s personal assistant, Pepper brought balance and order to Tony’s messy daily life, and subsequently became his love interest. Now, the wife of the super hero will strive to protect world order in her own sophisticated suit of armors.

This figure won’t cost a paltry sum, but it’s totally worth it, right? Let us know what you think in comments.
