AMC‘s The Walking Dead is taking over Comic-Con International’s massive auditorium, Hall H, for an hourlong panel that teases what’s to come as the hit series gears up for Season 8. Confirmed guests for The Walking Dead Comic-Con panel even includes a few that didn’t make it out of Season 7 alive. Stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Chandler Riggs, Sonequa Martin-Green, Michael Cudlitz, Josh McDermitt, Ross Marquand, Christian Serratos, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan will join executive producer and showrunner Scott M. Gimple, executive producer Robert Kirkman, executive producer Gale Anne Hurd, executive producer Dave Alpert, and special effects makeup supervisor and executive producer Greg Nicotero. Based on the comic book series written by Kirkman and published by Image ComicsThe Walking Dead reigns as television’s most watched drama for Adults 18-49. The Walking Dead tells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse, and follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, who travel in search of a safe and secure home. Look for The Walking Dead Season 8 to premiere October 22 with the spinoff series, Fear The Walking Dead, set to first return with the second half of its third season starting September 10. That series stars Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Lorenzo James Henrie, Mercedes Mason, and Colman Domingo and is also executive produced by Kirkman, Hurd and Alpert alongside executive producer and showrunner Dave Erickson.
