The full DC Comics May 2016 solicitations have been released, and in the gallery viewer below, you can now check out all the artwork, synopses and product images for nearly 150 different upcoming releases!
Following on the heels of Zack Snyder’s long-awaited Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the DC Comics May 2016 solicitations offer up a variety of books featuring Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and more. DC Comics is also getting a head start on the August 5 release of Suicide Squad with quite a few books featuring Harley Quinn and the rest of the antihero ensemble.
With several of the “New 52” books hitting their 52nd issues, DC is celebrating with a series of “New 52” themed variants. Be on the lookout for Action Comics by Ben Oliver, Aquaman by Brett Booth and Norm Rapmund, Batgirl by Babs Tarr, Batman by Rafael Albuquerque, Catwoman by Inaki Miranda, Detective Comics by Francis Manapul, Flash by Jesus Merino, Green Arrow by Szymon Kudranski, Green Lantern by Billy Tan, Superman by Mikel Janin and Wonder Woman by David Finch and Matt Banning.
Of course, May also brings the annual Free Comic Book Day and DC Comics has two additional titles available for no cost at select stores on Saturday, May 7. Be on the lookout for both a reprint of Suicide Squad #1 as well as a DC Super Hero Girls FCBD Special. The later offers two stories from the upcoming original graphic novel DC Super Hero Girls: Finals Crisis.
