Katy O’Brian‘s latest film is officially heading to streaming. Queens of the Dead, a zombie comedy released in 2025, has secured its Hulu debut. The film, written by Tina Romero and Erin Judge, combines horror and comedy against the backdrop of a zombie outbreak in Brooklyn. Hulu has now confirmed when subscribers will be able to stream the horror-comedy from home.
Queens of the Dead arrives on Hulu in June
Queens of the Dead, the zombie comedy starring The Mandalorian actor Katy O’Brian, has officially secured its Hulu release date. According to Hulu Press, the film will begin streaming on the platform on June 26, 2026.
Directed by Tina Romero, Queens of the Dead premiered in the United States on October 24, 2025. The horror-comedy takes place during a drag show in Brooklyn where a zombie outbreak interrupts the event and forces the attendees into a fight for survival. As the outbreak spread through the city, drag queens, club kids, and former friends with unresolved tensions must work together to protect themselves and escape the growing threat.
The ensemble cast includes Katy O’Brian as Dre, Jaquel Spivey as Sam, Riki Lindhome as Lizzy, Jack Haven as Kelsey, Cheyenne Jackson as Jimmy, and Margaret Cho as Pops among others. The film received a strong critical response upon release.
On Rotten Tomatoes, Queens of the Dead holds an 84 percent critics score based on 56 reviews. Audience reactions proved more divided, resulting in a 63 percent audience rating on the platform.
