The Boys’ Prequel Show Vought Rising Adds 4 New Cast Members

Vought Rising has added four new cast members.

The world of Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys is expanding with a new prequel show titled Vought Rising. Starring Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy and Aya Cash as Stormfront, production on the series is expected to begin later this month.

Who has joined the cast of Vought Rising?

Per Deadline, the cast of Vought Rising also now includes Jorden Myrie, Nicoló Pasetti, Ricky Staffieri, and Brian J. Smith.

Myrie is known for playing Lord Stanton in Bridgerton, while he’s also starred in shows such as Shepherd’s Delight, Stephen, Screw, Mood, and Sherwood. Pasetti, meanwhile, has appeared in episodes of The Queen’s Gambit, That Dirty Black Bag, Industry, The Law According to Lidia Poët, All Heart, and more, while he also played Deputy Hirsch in 2023’s The Last Voyage of the Demeter.

Staffieri is known for playing Theodore Fak in FX’s The Bear, while he’s also shown up in Chicago P.D., Better Call Saul, and This Is Us. Lastly, starred as Will Gorski in Sense8 and Lt. Matthew Scott in Stargate Universe. Additionally, he portrayed Berg in 2021’s The Matrix Resurrections and Doug McKenna in the Treadstone television series.

Paul Grellong, who serves as an executive producer on The Boys, will be the showrunner of Vought Rising.

Grellong and franchise developer Eric Kripke said the prequel is “a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought.”

An Amazon Prime Video premiere date for Vought Rising has not yet been announced. The Boys, meanwhile, will soon be coming to an end with Season 5, which is expected to arrive at some point in 2026.
