Long before the announcement of Marvel's S.H.I.E.L.D. it looked like Marvel Studios' first television series would be The Incredible Hulk, from writer/director Guillermo del Toro, but it seems things aren't going so well on that front.
"I met with Jeph Loeb after 'Avengers,' but after that meeting, there's been complete radio silence on the show. It's very frustrating for me and for the fans that we don't know," del Toro told MTV News."I haven't heard anything in months about the show, but obviously 'Avengers' is a game-changer for Marvel. It's their property, and if I don't make it, at least I'll watch it."
The last we heard about the proposed series, del Toro had handed off the script to Marvel Studios and they were waiting on a certain writer (who many theorized was Joss Whedon) to take a pass at the script. Since then though, as del Toro himself said, silence.
Do you think we'll ever see the Hulk in his own TV show again? Sound off below!
