Age of Ultron was first announced over two years ago in the pages of Brian Michael Bendis' The Avengers and now it seems (after Bendis' departure from the title) the storyline is coming to fruition. Marvel unveiled this teaser for the event which is quite unlike anything else they've done recently. When entered into a binary translator, the numbers in the picture decode to "Age of Ultron." This, of course, has been a long promised storyline for The Avengers that fans have been eagerly waiting for.
Ultron was originally created by Hank 'Ant-Man' Pym, a robot that quickly became one of The Avengers greatest foes. He is capable of living within computers and technology and after his last 'ressurection' in the comics, Iron Man predicted his return would bring about the apocalypse or as he called it the 'Age of Ultron.'
More details on the announcement are said to be coming Monday, with the event itself starting in March of 2013.
