Guillermo del Toro Talks Hellboy 3

Last week, Hellboy creator Mike Mignola offered his thoughts on the potential for a third big screen version, saying that, in his opinion, it would never happen. Today, in an interview with SuperHeroHype sister site Shock Till You Drop, director Guillermo del Toro responded, sadly, with similar news.

"By the time I get to it and by the time we got Ron [Perlman] back, he'll be a HellMAN and in a wheelchair," he joked.

There is a glimmer of hope, though, in that del Toro did confirm that the desire to tell another Hellboy story is there but with quite a few films already scheduled, it could be a very, very long wait if it happens at all.
