Marvel to Introduce Characters in Short Films?

Possible 10-minute shorts in front of features

Latino Review is reporting a rumor that Marvel Studios is planning on introducing characters to moviegoers via short films in front of their features:

Got a scoop from a well trusted source that Marvel/Disney are looking at doing 10 minute short films in front of their feature length movies that will introduce secondary characters like Black Panther, Luke Cage, Dr. Strange, etc.

I have no other information on this. Such as what movie they plan on starting this with (Avengers maybe?) or what character(s) they plan on introducing first.

We'll let you know if this is confirmed down the road.

good idea. Disney used to shorts infront of their films decades ago.

This is a very good idea, however will they be live action? animated? CGI? if they are live action will the same actors play the same roles if features are made? Only time will time maybe Thor and Cap will be the frist two films produced with the shorts

Awesome idea. Could make casting a little complicated if they decide to move on with a character. Still a really good idea though.

Not a bad idea at all. It will give hard core fans a little taste of possible future full length films and the general audience an introduction to some of Marvel's less known heroes. Disney really wants to expose all of Marvel's characters (for financial reasons, of course) but in the long run the fans can really benefit from this. Keep it up.

Great Idea. It would be a nice way to show who they plan on making films about later, or being able to introduce supporting heroes for background/team-ups.

Hopefully a little teaser with Simon Peg as Hank Pym for the Ant-Man movie in front of Thor. Maybe Pym working in his lab and showing him discover Pym particles for the first time. End with him shrinking down and breaking the fourth wall by saying "OH F..."

This great marketing idea Cloak & Dagger, Black Widow She-Hulk, Nick Fury, Photon, Captain Mar-vell, Machine Man, Ms Marvel.

These icons need a movie of there own, Punisher with Jonatahn Hensleigh & Michael France they need to do a worthy sequal also Blade 4 Goyer get on with it.
