Megan Fox Replaced by a Victoria's Secret Model?

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is new Transformers 3 frontrunner

Relatively new site GeekWeek broke the scoop last Friday, and Deadline seems to be confirming that Victoria's Secret model (and Jason Statham girlfriend) 23-year-old Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (photo below) is the frontrunner to replace the departing Megan Fox in Michael Bay's Transformers 3.

According to Deadline, Huntington-Whiteley was among the shortlist of three relatively new women to the movie business including Sarah Wright and Brooklyn Decker, the latter being a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model who is appearing in Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston's 2011 romantic comedy Just Go With It. 

Later in the day, their story was amended to say that Huntington-Whitely, who has absolutely no acting experience except for what she does on the runway during Victoria's Secret Fashion Shows, has gotten the role as long as things don't fall apart in negotiations.

 Transformers 3 began production on May 17, shooting in Los Angeles, gearing up for a release on July 1, 2011.

I thought that after Megan Fox was gone, the Tranformers movie could only go up. I clearly underestimated Michael Bay's eye for crap.

Yep, leave it to Bay. Haven't seen the second one, could barely handle the first one, between its inability to decide if it wanted to be a serious film or a comedy.

She's pretty all right, but no acting experience for a major summer tent pole film....wow, thats all I can say...wow. (and not in a good way)

i find it funny you all are takin this seriously...Bayosauras is up to his old tricks again,clearly throwin out false information,at least some to make you feel like its legitimate.Hasnt it become obvious that this model MAY be in the film,but just as a 3rd wheel issue,Megan Fox MAY not be in the film....ENTIRELY,i still have a feelin she'll make her way in.Cuz frankly no one knows the story of this next installment except for Bay and Ehren Kruger...so take all this info as a grain of salt friends
