Alan Tudyk Joins Transformers 3
The "Firefly" star adds to the eclectic cast
The Wrap is reporting that actor Alan Tudyk, best known for his role on Joss Whedon's beloved TV shows "Firefly" and "Dollhouse," has joined the eclectic cast of Michael Bay's Transformers 3 in an unspecified role. Tudyk is the latest announcement in what's looking to be a diverse cast with John Malkovich, Frances McDormand and Patrick Dempsey having already joined the returning cast. Previously, Tudyk appeared in the original Death at a Funeral, 3:10 to Yuma, Judd Apatow's Knocked Up and Whedon's "Firefly" spin-off Serenity. At this point, nothing else is known of the plot for the threequel or what part Tudyk might play. Transformers 3 is scheduled to open on July 1, 2011. Read more about:

They keep adding great actors...which would be awesome if it wasn't suppossed to be a series about robots. Of course they could just be voice acting...nope I saw the first 2 bayformers movies, hence we all know more puny humans and less robots. I for one hope to meet Bay just once in my life. I'd love to show him what I think about his "vision" of what Transformers is. I know the movies made a ton of money and therefore are considered a success, but come on man get your s**t together and at least look at some source material. Report Abuse

*rolls eyes* Who cares. Wish they would make an investment in giving the robots personalities. You can have action and robots with fun personalities that aren't ignorant, buck-toothed insults. I'm p**sed that I paid matinee price to see that second piece of crap.
