Zack Snyder’s Justice League Sets Domestic Blu-ray and 4K Release Date

UPDATE: Warner Bros. just revealed the cover art. See below.

Earlier this year, the long-awaited Zack Snyder’s Justice League made its debut on HBO Max. Now, the movie will finally hit the domestic market in the United States. Zack Snyder himself shared the news with his fans, announcing that his cut of Justice League will be available in 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray starting Sept. 7. The movie is already available in physical form in different markets, including the UK. According to several reports, the sales are going pretty well, and last week it hit its fifth non-consecutive week at the top. No word yet on whether the “Justice Is Gray” edition will be included.

Snyder teased his cut of Justice League for a long time, but it took years (and plenty of fans’ petitions) before it happened. Ultimately, it premiered as a four-hour cut movie on HBO Max on March 18, 2021. The movie saw Henry Cavill reprising his role as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Ezra Miller as The Flash, and Ben Affleck as Batman. Besides the original cast from the movie, Jared Leto reprised his role as the Joker in the DC Extended Universe. The movie also featured Harry Lennix’s General Swanwick, a.k.a. Martian Manhunter. As of this writing, DC doesn’t seem willing to add new installments in the so-called Snyderverse.
