Agent Carter Heads to Los Angeles for Second Season

ABC officially revealed their 2015-2016 Primetime Schedule this morning and with it came descriptions of the second and third seasons for “Marvel’s Agent Carter” and “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD,” respectively. The biggest change for the pair will effect “Agent Carter,” which is moving from the New York setting of its first season to Los Angeles for Season Two. It’s plot description reads as follows:

“‘Marvel’s Agent Carter’ returns for a second season of adventure and intrigue, starring Hayley Atwell in the titular role of the unstoppable secret agent for the SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve). Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home — and perhaps even a new love — she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.”

“Marvel’s Agent Carter” stars Hayley Atwell as Agent Carter and is executive produced by Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, Chris Dingess, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Joe Quesada, Stan Lee and Jeph Loeb.

The new season of “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” is described as follows:

“’Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD’ returns for a dynamic, action-packed third season, as Director Phil Coulson embarks on a deadly new secret mission to protect the world from new threats in the wake of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s wars with Hydra and a rogue faction of Inhumans.”

“Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD”  stars Clark Gregg as Director Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Agent Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Nick Blood as Agent Lance Hunter and Adrianne Palicki as Agent Bobbi Morse. Co-created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, who also serve as executive producers along with Jeph Loeb and Jeffrey Bell, “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television.

The series will air Tuesdays at 9 P.M. EST on ABC. The two-hour season-finale is set to air tonight.
