In addition to his comments about the Fantastic Four music, composer John Ottman was also asked if he would return for X-Men 3, having scored X2: X-Men United. 'a1ant' writes:
I saw the news thing on Lightnin Strikez quote from John Ottman. Well, this is to just let you know that I e-mailed Ottman a few days before and asked him if he was returning for X3. Here's what he said: "If you hear anything, let me know! I have no idea what's going on with it. I think it's on hold for the moment, which sucks. I'd love to score a follow up to my score.
