Stranger Things co-creator Ross Duffer has confirmed the final runtimes for the remaining four episodes of the hit sci-fi drama, with the series finale set as the show’s longest episode ever. So far, the latest season has already received a Certified Fresh rating of 84% on Rotten Tomatoes, making it the lowest-rated installment of the long-running Netflix series.

The fifth and final season has been divided into three parts. The first four episodes are now available for streaming on Netflix, while Volume 2 will drop on Christmas Day with three episodes. As for the highly anticipated series finale, it is scheduled to debut on New Year’s Eve, nearly a decade after the show made its debut.

What are the runtimes for Stranger Things Season 5’s final episodes?

Listed below are the final runtimes for the remaining four episodes of Stranger Things Season 5, which were posted by Ross Duffer on his personal Instagram account:

  • Chapter Five: Shock Jock (Episode 5) will be 68 minutes or an hour and 8 minutes long.
  • Chapter Six: Escape from Camazotz (Episode 6) will be 75 minutes or an hour and 15 minutes.
  • Chapter Seven: The Bridge (Episode 7) will be 66 minutes or an hour and six minutes long.
  • Chapter Eight: The Rightside Up (Episode 8 – series finale) will be 128 minutes or two hours and eight minutes long.

Stranger Things Season 5 stars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Winona RyderDavid Harbour, Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Charlie Heaton, Sadie Sink, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Cara Buono, and Brett Gelman. It will also feature the return of Season 4 cast members Jamie Campbell Bower as Vecna/One/Henry Creel and Amybeth McNulty as Vickie. Joining them are new cast members, Terminator vet Linda Hamilton as Dr. Kay, Nell Fisher as Holly Wheeler, Jake Connelly as Derek Turnbow, and Alex Breaux as Lt. Akers.
