Star Wars: Visions – What Did You Think?!

George Lucas has never been shy about acknowledging the influence of Japanese films on the original Star Wars. But now, the franchise has fully embraced that influence in Star Wars: Visions, a nine-part anime anthology streaming on Disney+. Since you’ve had a few days to watch, we want to know what the Superhero Hype community thinks about them! This post is a place for all of you to leave your own reviews, thoughts, or anything else you want to say about Star Wars: Visions.

To create the anthology, Lucasfilm Animation teamed up with seven different Japanese animation studios. Kamikaze Douga, Studio Colorido, Geno Studio, Trigger, Kinema Citrus, Production I.G, and Science SARU collectively created the nine shorts for Lucasfilm. However, each story was unique and unrestrained by continuity.

The nine shorts are called The Duel, Tatooine Rhapsody, The Twins, The Village Bride, The Ninth Jedi, T0-B1, The Elder, Lop & Ochō, and Akakiri. All of them tell a story through the lens of Japanese culture. And yet they are all true to the spirit of Star Wars, even if they don’t fit into any of the previously established timeline.

For now, there’s only one round of Star Wars: Vision shorts. However, there could be more in the future if they are positively received by the Star Wars fanbase.

We still want to know what you think. So make sure to leave your reviews in the comment section below!
