Marvel Finally Confirms Oscar Isaac Is Playing Moon Knight on Disney+

It’s been several months since word broke that Oscar Isaac was going to headline Marvel’s upcoming Moon Knight series on Disney+. And while just about everyone has accepted his casting as fact by now, neither Marvel nor Isaac himself has publicly acknowledged his involvement with the show.

However, that finally changed earlier today when Marvel re-shared an Instagram post from Isaac’s production company, Mad Gene Media. The image shows Isaac surrounded by several pages of Moon Knight artwork, which indicates that he’s spent the last half-year or so doing research and training. Check it out for yourself below.

Technically, this isn’t the first time that Isaac has used his company’s account to tease his Moon Knight prep work. Earlier this year, he posted a few videos showing off some of his fight training for the series, some of which involved the use of a prop knife. Kevin Feige has previously said that Moon Knight will be structured in the vein of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki. In other words, we can expect six episodes lasting 40 minutes to an hour apiece.

Disney+ hasn’t announced a premiere date for Moon Knight yet.
