Superman and Lois Goes on Hiatus, Supergirl Season 6 Arrives In March
It’s been a good month for Superman and Lois fans. Just a week after the series premiere, The CW renewed the show for another season. It’s also proven to be one of the most popular programs on the network. However, Superman and Lois is about to go on an unexpected hiatus just as viewers were diving into it.
Via Deadline, Superman and Lois will be pulled from The CW’s schedule after episode 4 airs on March 16. This move is happening because Superman and Lois was impacted by COVID-19 production delays. This will also allow the series to catch up on its filming schedule. Additionally, the remaining episodes of Superman and Lois season 1 will resume on May 18.
Tyler Hoechlin originally guest starred as Superman in the second season premiere of Supergirl. Elizabeth Tulloch made her debut as Lois Lane during the Arrowverse’s Elseworlds crossover. In their new series, Hoechlin and Tulloch are joined by Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin as Lois and Clark’s sons: as Jonathan and Jordan Kent.
Emmanuelle Chriqui also stars in the series as Lana Lang Cushing, with Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing, Inde Navarrette as Sarah Cushing, Wolé Parks as Captain Luthor, and Dylan Walsh as General Sam Lane.
The third episode Superman and Lois will debut on March 9.
