Darcy and Jimmy Woo Get Their Own WandaVision Character Posters

After spending three episodes in Sitcom Land, the latest chapter of Disney+’s WandaVision finally brought viewers back to the MCU proper, where we met a handful new characters and, of course, reunited with a pair of familiar faces as well. The episode notably featured Kat Dennings and Randall Park reprising their roles as Darcy Lewis and Jimmy Woo, respectively. And since they’re likely going to play a significant role in how the remainder of the season unfolds, it’s only natural that Marvel gave them their own character posters for the series. Just like Disney+ did with The Mandalorian, it looks like Marvel is giving viewers a few days to catch up on WandaVision’s latest episode before releasing new character posters. However, Dennings and Park’s characters both appeared in the series’ trailers, so their appearances weren’t exactly surprising. The new episode marked the first time that Dennings has shown up as Darcy since Thor: The Dark World hit theaters in 2013. Meanwhile, Park’s FBI Agent Woo is a fairly new addition to the MCU. He previously made his big-screen debut in Ant-Man and the Wasp in 2018.

Clearly, both characters have made big strides in their professional lives since their first appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Darcy was introduced in the original Thor film as a political science student. But hanging out with Jane Foster and Erik Selvig obviously had an impact on her, because she’s now a full-fledged astrophysicist. Woo, on the other hand, has come a long way from being Scott Lang’s parole officer. Though he did manage to pick up a few card tricks from his former charge! Together, they’re working with S.W.O.R.D. to free the people of Westview from Wanda’s psychic stranglehold on their town

The next episode of WandaVision premieres this Friday, February 5 on Disney+.
