Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian Making of Season 2 Date Officially Announced

It appears that there will be plenty of The Mandalorian content even after the Season 2 finale. While the news has already leaked in the past few weeks, Disney has finally made it official that they will release a new behind-the-scenes sneak peek for the fan-favorite show. Yes, Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian Making of Season 2  will hit Disney+ on Christmas Day, a week after the sophomore season finale. At the moment, the details about the documentary are still under wraps. But it seems that Disney won’t follow the same path of Season 1, with weekly episodes. This time, the House of the Mouse chose to go with just a one-hour long episode covering the second go-around.

The first season of Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian featured The Mandalorian executive producer Jon Favreau as the host of several roundtables with all the filmmakers and the actors who took part in the making of the show. In 8 episodes, the fans discovered never-before-seen details about the Star Wars project’s backstage happenings. While much content has already been explored in Season 1, there is still plenty of ground to cover, including early concept art and groundbreaking technology used for the show.

Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian Making of Season 2 will premiere on Dec. 25, following the last installment of The Mandalorian season 2 on Friday, Dec. 18. Together with the date announcement, the House of the Mouse has dropped a brand new poster for the occasion. Check it out below.
