Warning: There are spoilers ahead for The Mandalorian season 2 episode 6!
After today, there are only two episodes remaining in The Mandalorian season 2. And after a full year of foreshadowing, Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) has emerged from the shadows to confront Mando. Disney+ has premiered the sixth episode of season 2, and we want to know what the Superhero Hype community thinks about it!
Mando and Grogu finally arrived on Tython, to follow the advice of Ahsoka Tano. However, Grogu wasn’t initially able to activate the Jedi Temple and choose his own path in the Force. Before Grogu could finish, Boba Fett’s infamous ship, Slave I, landed on the planet. Fett demanded the return of his armor, and Mando initially refused to return it. Regardless, Fett’s new companion, Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen), forced Mando’s hand by threatening to shoot Grogu while he communed with the Force.

Cooler heads prevailed as Mando agreed to a deal with Fett and Shand. Unfortunately, Moff Gideon’s forces tracked Mando to Tython and attacked. In the chaos that followed, Fett was also able to reclaim his iconic armor. Both Fett and Shand fought side-by-side with Mando against a wave of imperial forces. However, Mando’s ship, the Razor Crest, was destroyed from orbit. And robotic Dark Troopers successfully kidnapped Grogu before Mando could stop them.
In the aftermath, Fett showed Mando proof that the armor was his. Additionally, Fett and Shand offered to help Mando rescue Grogu. Shortly thereafter, Mando visited Cara Dune (Gina Carano) with a mission that could end her revived career in the New Republic. Mando wants to break Mayfeld (Bill Burr) out of a New Republic prison so he can track down Moff Gideon’s Star Destroyer. Meanwhile, Gideon toyed with Grogu before ordering his men to stun him. He also sent a message to Dr. Pershing informing him that Grogu had been recovered.
The Mandalorian season 2’s first six episodes are currently streaming on Disney+. Episode 7 will arrive on Friday, December 11.
