It’s Halloween Time in DC’s Stargirl Episode 1.05 Photos

The CW has released a brand new set of photos for the upcoming fifth episode of Stargirl. As Courtney proceeds in building a unique team of superheroes, Halloween comes into Blue Valley. The holiday might turn out to be a crucial time for some of the young protagonists of the series. Especially for Anjelika Washington’s Beth, who is likely going to debut with Dr. Mid-Nite’s cape and cowl very soon. Besides that, the episode’s title, “Hourman and Dr. Mid-Nite,” implies that Rick Tyler’s alter-ego Hourman will join the team too.

In the comics, Doctor Mid-Nite is a skilled martial artist who wears a cowled costume featuring a crescent moon symbol. Plus, he can see even in the deepest darkness. Hourman is a Golden Age superhero with superhuman abilities but only for — you guessed — an hour at a time.

David Straiton directed the episode written by Melissa Carter. The official synopsis of “Hourman and Dr. Mid-Nite” reads:

“As Courtney (Brec Bassinger) sets her sights on recruiting more members to the Justice Society of America, Pat (Luke Wilson) finds himself one step closer to learning which ISA members may be in Blue Valley. Meanwhile, a search for Rick (Cameron Gellman) leads Courtney, Yolanda (Yvette Monreal) and Beth (Anjelika Washington) to Cindy Burman’s (Meg DeLacy) Halloween party. Amy Smart, Trae Romano, Jake Austin Walker, Hunter Sansone and Christopher James Baker also star.”

Character creator Geoff Johns will write and produce the series through his Mad Ghost Productions banner together with Greg Berlanti and Berlanti Productions.
