Genevieve O’Reilly Joins Disney+’s Cassian Andor Series

Diego Luna and Alan Tudyk were the first two Rogue One cast members to sign on for Disney+’s Cassian Andor series. However, they won’t be the only performers coming back. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Genevieve O’Reilly will reprise her role as Rebel Alliance leader Mon Mothma on  the series.

O’Reilly was cast as Mon Mothma in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. However, her screentime was cut to a silent cameo. She returned to the Star Wars universe with her role in Rogue One in 2016. She also lent her voice to Star Wars Rebels as well. O’Reilly is also known for her roles in Episodes, Glitch, and Tolkien

Additionally, THR reports that Denise Gough signed on as well. But details about Gough’s character are being kept under wraps. Gough is an accomplished stage actress, and she has also appeared in Waking the DeadThe Painter, and Messiah V: The Rapture. However, she may be best known to American fans as the voice of Yennefer of Vengerberg in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
